Aerotek is currently hiring for a qualified candidate to fill insurance verifiers/collectors at our client in Monroeville. Duties of this position include: * Researching and responding by telephone, via the Internet and in writing to insurance companies regarding billing issues and problems. * Follows up on submitted claims; monitors unpaid claims, initiates appeals and resubmits claims as necessary. * Responsible for all insurance follow-up associated with the dispensing of prescription medication * Maintain supporting chronological notes that detail action taken to resolve outstanding account balances. * Work all billing/collection work lists according to payer and company policy guidelines. Previous Experience: * Must have worked in the health insurance field in to the reimbursement field *Performing a variety of complex accounting functions for patient billing, including verification of invoice information, maintenance of third party billing records, and resolution of a variety of problems.
